Rebecca Kelble

Rebecca (Becca) was born and raised in Central Wisconsin, completing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Wildlife Ecology Research and Management. She traveled across the United States working on several different wildlife research projects as a field technician before becoming a project manager in Nevada in a greater sage-grouse research program. After 5 years she moved to Oregon to complete a master’s degree at Oregon State University in Wildlife Science, studying the populations of greater sage-grouse in Central Oregon. With over 10 years of experience working in the high desert sagebrush steppe, Becca is excited to continue working in this ecosystem and take on a new role as the Prineville Local Implementation Team Coordinator for the Central Oregon area where she can apply her knowledge of greater sage-grouse to on-the-ground conservation actions with local conservation leaders.
