Juniper Removal Funding through HB 5006

We are pleased to announce that we are accepting applications from landowners for juniper removal projects.

Crook County Soil and Water Conservation District received a grant from the Oregon legislature through HB 5006 to manage juniper for the purpose of drought relief. The grant provides funds for conservation districts in Central Oregon to address juniper encroachment. Projects must be larger than 100 acres. Applications will be ranked on several factors including impact on water resources and ecological health.

If you are interested in submitting an application, please reach out to Andy Gallagher @andy.gallagher@oregonstate.edu or 541-447-3548.
